Dubai Quality Group holds a workshop at Emirates Transport on Ideas Arabia & UAE Ideas Awards
The Dubai Quality Group (DQG) held a workshop at the Emirates Transport (ET) head office in Dubai to introduce two of their major award programmes.
The non-profit business organization, set up by the Dubai Department of Economic Development to develop and promote Quality and Business Excellences practices in UAE, spoke to a select group of managers and employees from various departments at the federal transport corporation.
Badriya Al Tamimi, Managing Director of DQG & Nariman Al Hakim, Assessor of Ideas Arabia & UAE Ideas Award, conducted the workshop on the benefits of the awards & how to apply for it.
Hanan Mohammed Saqer, Executive Director of Supporting Service at ET, said the workshop was a useful introduction and that the corporation will be participating in the two awards as part of its strategy of development of talents and encouragement of creativeness among its employees.
Saqer said that ET has always supported the stimulation and development of creative tendencies within the corporation as evident in the ‘Afkar’ or ‘Ideas’, a system which rewards employees for creative ideas that lead to the improvement of performance at the organization.
For her part, Badriya Al Tamimi, Managing Director of DQG, said the workshop comes in appreciation of ET’s efforts of supporting excellence and creativity and as part of the group’s goals of spreading and developing those ideals in society.
