The theme of this year’s awards “Celebrating Excellence” reflects a new culture that must be prevalent in the work environment so that we deal with our career responsibilities dynamically and efficiently, and this should constitute a part of the work culture and life culture as well.”
Badriya Al Tamimi, Managing Director, Dubai Quality Group , said: “We are adding new category to the award this year and reaching out to women who excel in new fields as individually talented in their respective fields such as Art, Sports, Science, etc. This wouldn’t have been achieved without the great and unique support provided to women from UAE’s leadership and government. And I would like to focus on a very important factor which is the family role in this aspect, where a woman manages both personal & professional commitment with support of her family”.
“It is a celebration of womanhood too! A woman’s role is much bigger and significant than being a business owner or professional, she is the main pillar of the family & society. Her role as a mother & wife is very important because that can build or break the family thus the society”, she added.
The 11th edition will continue to celebrate the success of business groups and organisations but critically, also applaud who have demonstrated exceptional talent individually. A message of thanks was issued to the Abu Dhabi Business Women Council as main sponsor for its continued support in addition to Etisalat Services Holdings and DEWA as Platinum sponsors and the British Orchard Nursery as Gold sponsors.
