The UAE Innovation Award was launched in 2016, under the patronage of HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, to foster a culture of innovation within companies in the private sector and to raise their level of innovative practices based on integrated innovation framework and standards. Keeping in the line the framework of UAE Vision 2021 and national innovation strategy, the award aims at supporting companies to strengthen their innovative capabilities and create sustainable value to their customers and the society at large while driving sustainable development in the country. ​ Under the patronage of H.H.
